SAMROA is a Motorsport Australia affiliated organisation. Officials require a Motorsport Australia licence to work at race meetings.

New members can apply for a license when at Mallala or at The Bend Motorsport Park.

No training is required to be completed prior to your first day trackside. However if you are keen, go to the MA link just above where you can sign up for an officials licence and complete the introductory General Officials course.

As you progress and gain experience, you can also complete training and assessments for more senior roles, such as Event Command, Sector Marshal or Event Secretary, which the club will support you in achieving. There is no expectation on your path, it is purely up to you and SAMROA will do what it can to help you towards whatever your goal is during your time as a Motorsport Official.
