We will need quite a few officials for this event so if you want to be part of history then download the application form and send to the email address on the form. We will need a lot of officials as we are using the 7.7km circuit for the GT,s this means approx. 28 flag points and sectors and track officials.

The rest of the 2016 General meetings will be held at the REEPHAM HOTEL, 273 Churchill Road, Prospect. Get there early for a meal, enjoy a drink and a chat with other club members. (yes, there is plenty of parking!)

SAMROA will be part of the 2015 People’s Choice Community Lottery. 150 prizes worth a total of $360,000
For every $2 ticket sold, our club will receive $2, Tickets are $2 each and we retain 100% of all proceeds which we generate through the sale of both paper and online tickets. People’s Choice and their partners meet all the costs associated with prizes, promotional material, advertising, printing of tickets, and coordinate all administrative essentials such as distribution, licensing, and statutory requirements – leaving participating organizations clear of any cost.
Any money we raise from the lottery will be used to fund Officials Training.
Tickets purchased online before 30 April 2015 will go into the draw to win the early bird prize – a Hyundai i20 worth $16,188 (drawn 13 May 2015). That’s a fantastic opportunity to win this great prize. Of course, paper Lottery tickets will be still be issued from 1 May 2015, and both online and paper tickets will be on sale until 18 September. The draw will take place on 20 October 2015.
The Clipsal 500 Adelaide is offering young motorsport enthusiasts the opportunity to be a part of the New Officials Team for the biggest motorsport event on the south Australia calendar – the Clipsal 500 Adelaide.
The 2015 New Officials Team aims to introduce motorsport enthusiasts between the ages of 16 and 25 to the world of motorsport officiating. The successful applicants will be trained in a safe and supportive environment supervised by some of the world’s best motorsport officials. This is a great opportunity to get involved!
This fresh and exciting new program offers 20 successful applicants the opportunity to officiate trackside during V8 Supercars and Support Category Practice sessions, Qualifying sessions and the first race start of the 2015 V8 Supercars Championship.
